Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Chemistry AI mobile application (“Chemistry AI”, “the App”) provided by Dustin Spyra (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. Description of the Service

Chemistry AI is a chemistry tutoring application designed to help students understand organic chemistry by solving chemistry problems and guiding them through reaction mechanisms step by step.

By using the App, you can:

  • capture or upload images of chemistry problems, such as reaction worksheets
  • optionally provide text input and/or voice input
  • receive step-by-step explanations and mechanism guidance generated with the help of AI

The App may use anonymous authentication for usage tracking and abuse protection but does not require creation of a personal account.

Chemistry AI is intended for personal and educational use.

2. In-App Purchases

Chemistry AI may offer optional paid features through the in-app purchase systems provided by Apple and/or Google, depending on the platform on which the App is available.

Available purchase options may include:

  • a Chemistry AI Pro subscription

Prices may vary by region and are displayed by the applicable store before you complete a purchase.

3. Free Usage Limits

Chemistry AI may provide limited free usage.

Free usage may currently include, for example:

  • up to 2 reaction problems per day in total
  • follow-up questions subject to the applicable daily free-use limits

We may adjust free usage limits from time to time.

Once the applicable free limit is reached, access to additional solves or chats may be restricted until the limit resets or Chemistry AI Pro is purchased.

4. Subscription Terms

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with the rules of the applicable app store.

Apple App Store

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID after confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with Apple’s applicable subscription rules.
  • Renewal charges are processed by Apple.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings.

Google Play

  • Payment is charged to your Google account after confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with Google Play’s applicable subscription rules.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play.
  • Step-by-step help: How to cancel your subscription on chemistrysolver.net.

Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

5. Refunds

Purchases and refunds are processed by Apple and/or Google through their respective stores. We do not directly process app-store payments or refunds.

For Apple purchases, refund requests can be submitted through:

For Google Play purchases, refund eligibility and requests are handled according to Google Play’s applicable refund policies.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Chemistry AI only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • attempt to reverse engineer, circumvent or improperly modify the App except where expressly permitted by applicable law
  • interfere with the operation or security of the App
  • attempt to bypass usage limits, payment systems or access restrictions
  • use automated systems to overload or abuse the service
  • use the App in a way that harms the service, other users or third parties
  • use Chemistry AI for unlawful purposes

7. Educational Information

Chemistry AI is an educational tutoring tool.

AI-generated answers may be incomplete, inaccurate or incorrect and should be independently checked before being relied upon for coursework, examinations, laboratory work or other important decisions.

Chemistry AI does not provide medical, psychological or other professional advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

Chemistry AI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or that AI-generated answers will always be correct.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses resulting solely from:

  • loss of locally stored data
  • temporary service interruptions
  • inaccuracies, omissions or errors in AI-generated explanations
  • decisions made solely on the basis of information generated by the App

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability under mandatory consumer-protection law.

9. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may update, improve, modify or discontinue features of the App.

We may also update these terms when the service, legal requirements or business model changes.

Where legally required, material changes will be communicated appropriately.

The version displayed with the App or on the associated website is the current version.

10. Termination

You may stop using Chemistry AI at any time by uninstalling the App.

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including in cases of unlawful use, abuse, security risks or serious violations of these terms.

We may also discontinue the App or individual features.

Any mandatory rights relating to existing purchases remain unaffected.
